Full Circle is looking for an Assistant Director of Justice Programs to lead our work in this area. The position will report to the Executive Director. This an exciting opportunity to be at the nexus of California’s CalAIM Medi-Cal reforms to help make the systems work better for at-risk or justice-involved youth. This position will be responsible for ensuring Full Circle reaches our goal of having 1,000 at-risk or justice-involved youth served through managed-funded CalAIM services by the end of 2025.
Be the primary Full Circle point of contact to work in collaboration with Sierra Health Foundation and Public Works Alliance on all aspects of the program.
Design a capacity-building grant program for justice-serving community-based organizations.
Oversee the grant-making program, including creation of all required reporting and monitoring to satisfy funder requirements.
Support creation of a Learning Collaborative/Community of Practice whereby participating CBOs share experiences, lessons learned, best practices, etc.
In collaboration with key stakeholders, lead the development of Full Circle’s CalAIM justice-involved strategy that reflects the lived experience and honors the knowledge of participating CBOs. This includes setting operational, administrative and programmatic key performance indicators and implementing quality improvement programs based on continuous monitoring.
Attend Department of Healthcare Services (DHCS), County, Path Collaborative and other key meetings held for the JI population.
Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with County partners to meet the needs of the Justice Involved (JI) population to include, coordinating with internal and external departments to ensure information is needed to implement the appropriate interventions to ameliorate systemic issues and barriers, identify overlap, identify potential conflict, and assist with resolutions
Be a subject matter expert of Enhanced Care Management specifically in the Justice Involved (JI) Population of Focus (PoF) including children and youth, pre-release services, understanding of Medi-Cal benefits and the concept of embedded/in-reach provider services and re-entry in the community.
Represent Full Circle and providers at key meetings to inform and shape ongoing policy development in this space.
Support the development of communication materials and participate in forums to share core principles and best practices for CalAIM service adoption based on the provider experience.
Ability to work independently and maintain positive relationships with internal and external contacts at all levels.
Ability to communicate and work effectively with a variety of providers and individuals with demonstrating problem-solving skills.
Must be able to represent Full Circle in a positive and collaborative manner externally to relevant county departments, correctional facilities, community partners and other key stakeholders.
