Behavioral Health Support Specialist
About the Role The Behavioral Health Support Specialist (MHRS) provides comprehensive care, case management, and mental health services to youth ages 12-18 in a Short Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP). This role involves building strong relationships, ensuring safety and well-being, and maintaining a supportive, strengths-based, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed environment. Key Responsibilities Include: Deliver and document mental health services per clinical and MediCal standards. Provide care, case management, and counseling, implementing individualized treatment plans. Assist residents with health, wellness, schedules, and appointments. Facilitate access to community services.
